ZEPHYRHILLS, FL (March 27, 2014) – Florida Hospital Zephyrhills has named Cheryl Kennison as its new Director of Marketing.
Kennison comes to the hospital from Florida Hospital Tampa where she served as the Marketing Manager. At this 475-bed facility she managed and executed marketing strategies for Florida Hospital Tampa’s key service lines which includes Women’s (Obstetrics, NICU, Neonatal Transport, Gynecology, Breast), Surgery, Orthopaedics, Cancer, Imaging, and Outpatient Services. Most recently she successfully managed several major marketing campaigns, launched the Pink Army initiative, and established a strong Spirit of Women program which received a national award for Strategic Integration of Women’s Services in July 2013.
Prior to her role at Florida Hospital Tampa, Kennison served as the Marketing and Foundation director for Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, where she was responsible for marketing, public relations, and foundation.
In her new role, Kennison will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and communications plans for Florida Hospital Zephyrhills.

Kennison is a graduate of Union College in Nebraska with a degree in public relations and marketing.
