The third annual Women’s Health and Wellness Day will be held at Saddlebrook Resort on Saturday, September 12 from 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Understanding that women are often caregivers for many others and don’t always slow down to focus on taking care of themselves, this free women’s event is dedicated to offering important health and wellness information in a fun, inspiring way.
The event will feature free health screenings, health presentations by physicians and other experts and important health and wellness information for women. Linda Hurtado, former news anchor from ABC Action News and breast cancer survivor, will emcee the morning and share her story. The event will culminate with a keynote presentation about Living a Healthy Life by Marla Silliman, Senior Vice President and Administrator, Florida Hospital.
The event will also feature a healthy cooking demonstration and a variety of fun activities and pampering. Continental breakfast and a full lunch are also included.
The event is free; however we will be accepting donations of $5 or more to the Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel Foundation to fund mammograms and other needed health services for women who can’t afford them. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Reserve your spot starting August 1, 2015 here
or by calling (813) 929-5432.
Once registered, make sure to print your parking pass here
to expedite your entry to the event.
