The Health and Wellness Center’s Exercise is Medicine program is specifically designed for individuals who may benefit from exercise to improve conditions such as arthritis, cardiopulmonary disease, osteoporosis, cancer, diabetes and many more. This program follows the global initiative of “Exercise is Medicine” provided by the American College of Sports Medicine, which aims to foster an effective referral process between physicians and wellness centers and to take advantage of the powerful medicine of physical activity.
