Symptoms and Signs of Vestibulitis

The primary symptom of vulvar vestibulitis is burning pain in the vulva. This burning, cutting pain in the vulva may be accompanied by stinging or irritation of the vulva. Patients with this condition have pain with any kind of vestibular pressure or touch, from sexual intercourse to tampon use, bicycle riding to wearing tight pants, and sometimes just standing for long periods. Usually, there is redness where the pain is located.
