Conditions Related to Robotic-Assisted Laparoscopy

There are a number of conditions for which robotic-assisted laparoscopy can be used, including:

  • Gallbladder, colon, liver and rectal cancers, as well as pancreatic disorders
  • Mitral valve disease, heart valve disease, coronary artery disease and atrial septic defects
  • Cervical and uterine cancers, endometriosis, pelvic organ prolapse, uterine fibroids and vaginal fistulas
  • Soft palate cancer, throat cancer, tongue base cancer, tongue cancer and tonsil cancer
  • Prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancers, benign prostatic disruption, ureteral reconstruction, kidney obstruction, adrenal masses, bladder diverticula, fistulas and lymph node dissection
