Signs and Symptoms of Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor

Some patients with nerve tumors show few or no symptoms—at least until they tumors grow and press against the nerves. However, possible symptoms of peripheral nerve sheath tumors can include pain; a mass or thickening of the muscle fibers; numbness, burning or having that “pins and needles” feeling; weakness in the affected muscles; and dizziness or loss of balance.
