Care Coordinator

We understand being diagnosed with a high-risk pregnancy can be overwhelming and stressful. One of the unique features of our program is the Care Coordinator, who acts as your health navigator throughout your pregnancy.
The Care Coordinator is a key member of our Comprehensive Fetal Medicine team, providing patients with compassionate, personal attention and support through the treatment process.  The Care Coordinator is here to ensure your needs are being met and will accompany you to key appointments, and provide a tour of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to familiarize you with the facility. The Care Coordinator provides the following services and support tailored to your individual needs:

  • Connecting you and your family with resources and support services
  • Serving as a constant link between you and the health care team, providing you the right help at the right time
  • Coordinating care plans designed or recommended by physicians
  • Coordinating care among providers
  • Scheduling appointments with multiple specialists at Florida Hospital for Women and Florida Hospital for Children
  • Answering your questions, explaining information to you and providing support

Our Care Coordinator helps you navigate through the full spectrum of services offered by our Comprehensive Fetal Medicine Program to provide a continuum of care in a comfortable and caring environment. Whether it’s coordinating appointments, assisting with insurance issues, or just a heart-to-heart talk about daily concerns, the Care Coordinator is the advocate who ensures you receive the care you need when you need it. Anyone can self-refer to the Care Coordinator at any time. All calls are free and confidential, and no insurance is required to talk or meet with a care coordinator. For more information contact our Care Coordinator at 407-609- 0364.
