Oligodendroglial Tumor

Screening and Tests for Oligodendroglial Tumor

Screening for an oligodendroglioma may include imaging studies, such as a CT scan and MRI, which create detailed images of the brain and can help locate tumors. The doctor may also perform a neurological exam to assess the patient’s vision and hearing, and take a sample of cerebrospinal fluid for analysis. Chest x-rays may also be used to see if the tumor has spread to other parts of the body.
