In 1987, The Foundation approved this philanthropic program in memory of Dr. E.W. Burnette, one of the founding physicians of the hospital. The Burnette Society is composed of individuals who contribute $1,000 or more annually to The Foundation. These donors, who give in the spirit of the hospital’s founding father, help carry forward the faith based, compassionate healthcare provided by Florida Hospital North Pinellas.
