All of our treatments and services aim to provide each patient with the highest degree of wellness possible, based on the patient’s individual needs. We partner with our patients and their families to ensure patient-centered care that addresses not only the patient’s medical needs, but also his or her right to honesty, dignity and clarity.
The West Coast Medical Group (WCMG) at the Surgical Institute features premier surgeons both from our community and the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Their specialties include general and vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, breast cancer treatment, breast reconstruction and melanoma treatment.
Our surgeons—and all of the supporting staff members and nurses at the West Coast Medical Group—emphasize a comprehensive approach to patient care, beginning with the patient’s primary care physician and tapping into the experience and expertise of Florida Hospital North Pinellas’ anesthesiologists, radiologists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and technical and support staff.
We strive to offer our community an advanced level of surgical care, as well as state-of-the-art technologies and techniques, by marrying the resources of the USF College of Medicine (which include a number of clinical trials testing the cutting edge of cancer medicine), the WCMG’s highly skilled surgeons, and the resources and staff of Florida Hospital North Pinellas, all so you can rest assured that you are in good hands with us.
