Hospital Amenities

At Florida Hospital North Pinellas, our dedication to our community runs deeper than just providing our neighbors with exceptional care. In everything we do, we strive to make our patients’ hospital experience as comfortable and rewarding as possible. We provide patients and their family members with a variety of amenities designed to make their stay with us more comfortable. 
 
This commitment starts before you even enter the hospital. For your convenience, we offer a complimentary shuttle service that will transport you from the main parking lot to the hospital’s main entrance. This shuttle service operates daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 
Once inside, all of our patients and their guests are welcome to access the Internet over the hospital’s Wi-Fi network, either on their laptops, tablets or smartphones. Simply sign into our network “AHS Guest.” From there, you will be directed to a login portal, and after you’ve agreed to our user agreements, you’ll be connected to the Web. 
 
Patients and guests are also welcome to our Comfort Cart. This cart travels to each patient room, offering gifts for patients, coloring books for the kids and other fun items. Our volunteers bring the Comfort Cart around regularly, but if you’d like them to visit sooner, simply contact the Volunteer Office (Monday through Friday) at (727) 942-2258.
 
Our volunteers also operate the Garden Grill, which offers patients and guests delicious, affordable, homemade food. The grill is located in the hospital’s main lobby, just to the left of the information desk. Its hours of operation are: 
 
  • Monday/Thursday/Friday: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday/Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Saturday/Sunday: Closed
