Symptoms and Signs of Nonunion

Common symptoms of nonunion include pain, swelling and tenderness at the fracture location, as well as a lack or mobility or abnormal movement at the site of fracture. Nonunion may also cause deformity and, if in the legs or lower extremities, difficulty walking or bearing weight.
