Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic, alongside Orlando Magic Community Ambassador Nick Anderson and Orlando Magic Dancers, surprised Florida Hospital for Children patients with a visit and distributed teddy bears along with hand-written, inspirational messages.
Hundreds of teddy bears parachuted from the rafters at a recent Orlando Magic game, to mark Florida Hospital for Children’s presenting night. Each teddy bear included a note that asked fans to write an inspiring message to a patient at Florida Hospital for Children. On Thursday, Vucevic, Anderson and Outlaw donated the teddy bears and notes to patients.
Vucevic has played with the Magic since 2012. A familiar face at Florida Hospital for Children, Orlando Magic Community Ambassador Nick Anderson is active in youth outreach in Central Florida, speaking frequently to local youth groups and participating in basketball clinics and camps.
