PALM COAST, Fla., November 2, 2018 – Florida Hospital Flagler has named Alexander Kovalev as the hospital’s new nurse manager for the operating room, endoscopy and sterile processing.
In his new role, Kovalev will oversee the functioning of the operating room, endoscopy and sterile processing areas. Part of his responsibilities will include ensuring all equipment, supplies and resources are appropriately available for staff and surgeon and maintaining a quality and caring environment for patients.
Kovalev most recently served as a circulating nurse and would prepare and help complete surgical procedures in the intraoperative setting.
A Deltona resident, Kovalev earned a nursing diploma from St. Francis Medical Center School of Nursing, in Trenton, New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
