PALM COAST, Fla., December 15, 2016 — Florida Hospital Flagler has selected David Gordon to serve as director of human resources, effective Dec. 12.
In this new role, Gordon is responsible for providing strategic direction for Florida Hospital Flagler’s employee engagement, relations, and retention, as well as talent acquisition, management, and training.
Gordon has 10 years of human resources experience with Adventist Health System and most recently served as human resources manager at Florida Hospital East Orlando, where he built partnerships with department leaders to develop strategies around retention and engagement.
An Altamonte Springs resident, Gordon earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Master of Business Administration from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. Additionally, he has earned certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), as well as Recruitment Academy Certified Recruiter.
