If you suffer from a degenerative knee disease like osteoarthritis, Florida Hospital Zephyrhills (FHZ) invites you to attend a free educational program entitled “Total Mako™ Robotic Knee Replacement” from noon to 1 pm on Wednesday, March 22 in the hospital’s Cypress Room at 7050 Gall Blvd.
Trey Alexander, MD, board certified orthopedic surgeon, will share how the Mako™ robotic-arm assisted surgery is a new alternative to this orthopedic problem. He’ll also explain how the technology works, who is a surgical candidate and recovery time. Total Mako™ robotic knee replacements are presently being done at FHZ.
