Ladies Who Brunch Sets Sail in March

Florida Hospital Zephyrhills (FHZ) has put a new twist on a popular annual event. Formerly known as “Ladies Who Lunch,” FHZ will host “Ladies Who Brunch” from 8 am to 11:30 am on Wednesday, March 21 at the First Assembly of God, 36322 SR 54, Zephyrhills. This year’s accent will be a cruise theme to the South Pacific.

An outdoor health fair will take place rain or shine under canopies from 8 am to 9 am where women will visit different ports of call and talk with local tour guides who are women’s health specialists. There will also be chair massages and free screenings that include blood pressure, cholesterol and lower back and balance.

The ship sets sail at 9 am with brunch and musical entertainment provided by Entertainment Revue, comprised of talented teens from throughout Tampa Bay. Then, a panel of respected health professionals that includes gynecologists, a cardiologist, a diagnostic radiologist and an orthopedic surgeon will participate in a panel discussion to address women’s health matters.

Before the ship docks, attendees are encouraged to participate in “The Tackiest Tourist” contest. Come to the event dressed as a tacky tourist for a chance to win a fun prize. However, FHZ asks that dress be moderate and appropriate for the occasion.

Due to space limitations, one must make a reservation by calling (877) 534-3108.
