Florida Hospital's Sara Carnes Receives Rotary President's Award for Exceptional Commitment

Sara Carnes, Director of Clinical Education for Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center, received a very special recognition from her Rotary for outstanding service.

The President's Award is a special award that is given by the President to an individual for service above and beyond.  This includes assistance to the President and club as a whole.

The award is not given every year, only when someone has demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication to the club.

"Sara certainly deserves this award.  She was there for the club even when experiencing great personal trials and loss.  Sara truly exemplifies the Rotary motto of 'Service above self'", said Rotary member Mary Birge. "Sara maintained her position as secretary, was an invaluable member of the Wild Game Dinner committee, and attended membership and board meetings regularly.  Sara always projects a positive attitude and keeps her fellow Rotarians motivated and on track!"
