Florida Hospital’s Backpack Donations Bursting with Needed Supplies

Florida Hospital Zephyrhills (FHZ) tenth annual backpack drive for local students in need got great support from its staff and volunteers. On Tuesday, August 9, hospital staff presented representatives from the Samaritan Project of Zephyrhills with 98 backpacks in all shapes, sizes and colors full of school supplies plus four huge boxes brimming with the same. One of the boxes was donated by members of the East Pasco Seventh-day Adventist Church in Zephyrhills. Before the supplies were released to the Samaritan Project for disbursement, FHZ Chaplain and Samaritan Project Board member Doug Higgins said a blessing.
