Florida Hospital Zephyrhills welcomed its first baby of the New Year on New Year’s Day.
The baby boy was born at 9:47 am at the Hospital. He weighed in at 5 pounds, 13 ounces and 18 inches long. His mom, Allison Martin, and dad, Daniel Jennings, who live in Dade City, are so excited about their new arrival.
Our New Year’s baby received a special tote bag from the hospital filled with baby necessities and Baby’s R Us in Wesley Chapel gave baby a “My First Year” picture frame and belly stickers to remember baby’s first Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc.
The Baby Place® offers eight private labor and delivery rooms, seven postpartum rooms and two triage rooms. Each room provides a home-like environment, giving the family privacy before, during and after the birth of their child. In addition, the rooms are designed to allow significant-others to stay with Mom.
