Dr. Michael Weiss Joins Florida Hospital Physician Group

Michael Weiss, MD, FACOG, board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, has joined Florida Hospital Physician Group (FHPG) and will be seeing patients in Zephyrhills and Dade City. East Pasco Women’s Care located at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills will be one of Dr. Weiss’s office locations as will Dade City Primary Care on Meridian Avenue in Dade City. Dr. Weiss is accepting female patients of all ages and will deliver newborns and perform surgeries at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills.

Dr. Weiss is a graduate of New York University’s School of Medicine and a familiar face to many individuals in east Pasco County. Prior to joining FHPG, Dr. Weiss was in private practice with Women’s Health of Pasco since 2006 in Dade City. Some of his specialties include advanced laparoscopic surgery, pelvic reconstruction surgery and high-risk pregnancies. He’s also trained in robotic surgery. “We’re extremely excited that Dr. Weiss has joined Florida Hospital Physician Group. We believe that his expertise in obstetrics and gynecology, combined with the fact that he’ll be alternating between Zephyrhills and Dade City, will be a plus for our patients.” said Randy Surber, FHZ President and CEO.
