NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., September 27, 2017 — Florida Hospital New Smyrna has selected registered nurse Megan Bowes to serve as nurse manager for the third floor, which houses 32 inpatient beds.
In this role, she will be responsible for directing, planning and evaluating patient-centered care and quality outcomes, as well as supporting the New Smyrna Beach hospital’s mission, vision and values.
Bowes has six years of experience and most recently served as the hospital’s director of patient experience, developing and directing patient-centered initiatives to drive excellence in the patient and family experience throughout the 112-bed New Smyrna Beach facility.
An Edgewater resident, Bowes earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing leadership and management from Utah-based Western Governors University.
