NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., June 1, 2017 – On May 23, Florida Hospital New Smyrna received $4,000 from the Fraternal Order of Eagles, New Smyrna-Edgewater Aerie #4242.
The philanthropic organization donated $2,000 to support Florida Hospital New Smyrna’s cardiac care. In addition, $1,000 of the donation will support the New Smyrna Beach hospital’s breast cancer services and the remaining $1,000 will support the diabetes programs.
The local Fraternal Order of Eagles have provided grant donations to Florida Hospital New Smyrna for the past three years.
“We are very appreciative of the generosity provided by the Edgewater Eagles members for supporting our community health improvements programs,” said Pat Driver, Florida Hospital New Smyrna Foundation chairman. “They have been wonderful community advocates, and we truly value their involvement.”
