Florida Hospital Home Health Adds Speech Therapy Services

VOLUSIA & FLAGLER COUNTIES, Fla., July 17, 2018 – Florida Hospital Home Health has expanded its services to now offer speech therapy. 
 
Throughout Volusia and Flagler counties, Florida Hospital Home Health offers a wide range of health and social services to recovering, disabled, chronically or terminally ill patients who need medical, nursing, social or therapeutic treatment at home. 
 
Florida Hospital Home Health will now provide full speech therapy services to all of Volusia and Flagler counties. This includes evaluating and treating conditions that impact speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing. In addition, Florida Hospital Home Health will bring VitalStim services to the home. VitalStim is a non-invasive, external electrical stimulation device used in therapy, along with swallowing exercises, to address difficulty with swallowing or dysphagia.
