Screening and Tests for Nabothian Cysts
The only screening and tests for nabothian cysts are pelvic exams and breaking the cyst to verify the diagnosis. Nabothian cysts are usually diagnosed during routine pelvic exams where doctors inspect the cervix to detect any abnormalities.
Some doctors may break the cyst once detected to confirm the diagnosis. In very rare cases, doctors may recommend a colposcopy (magnifying test) to verify the nabothian cysts.
