Myasthenia Gravis

Stages of Myasthenia Gravis

The first stages of myasthenia gravis usually appear in affected women before the age of 40 and in men by age 60. The onset of the disorder may be mild, or can occur rapidly. The disorder is not progressive, but symptoms may increase or decrease in intensity for periods of time. In a few cases, myasthenia gravis goes into complete remission.
