Symptoms and signs of Ménière's disease may happen without warning, making patients with severe cases of this disorder a potential fall risk.  Symptoms of Ménière's disease are characterized by the following: 
  • Vertigo (severe spinning sensation with motion sickness)
  • Severe nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Sweating
  • Tinnitus ( ringing of the ears)
  • Loss of hearing
  • Pressure in ear with disorder
  • Loss of balance (drop attacks)
  • Headaches
