DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., April 11, 2018 – Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center has selected Cully Chapman to serve as chief financial officer (CFO).
In this role, Chapman will oversee the overall financial operations of the 327-bed facility in Daytona Beach and will partner with the executive team to strengthen the financial and operational goals of the organization.
Chapman has more than 20 years of CFO experience, and in the 1990s, he worked at Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center (formally located in Avon Park, but has since relocated to Sebring), starting in in the finance department as assistant controller and working his way up to director of the finance team.
Most recently, Chapman served as the vice president of finance for physician practice services at Community Health Systems’ corporate offices in Franklin, Tennessee. During his tenure with Community Health Systems, one of the largest publicly traded hospital companies in the U.S., Chapman served as CFO for 3,000-5,000 employed physicians and their 1,250-2,200 practices, focused on improving their clinic financials.
A Daytona Beach resident, Chapman earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Southern College (now Southern Adventist University) and a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri.
Chapman became Certified Public Accountant in 2002, and switched to inactive status in 2012.
