DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., February 7, 2014 – Board certified family medicine physician Hezi Cohen, MD, has relocated his practice from suite 208 within Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center to a new suite within the hospital’s medical office building. Dr. Cohen joined the Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners medical staff at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in 2009. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine and is a practicing family medicine physician.
In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Cohen serves as Chief Medical Officer for Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners, employed physicians group. He also serves on the board of the Florida Hospital Memorial Foundation, is a board member of Florida Hospital Healthcare System and is the secretary and treasurer of the Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Medical Executive Committee. In addition, he is a clinical assistant professor at the Florida State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Cohen has been involved as principal investigator and sub-investigator in multiple studies on conditions including osteoarthritis, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, fibromyalgia, migraine headaches and prevention of the common cold.
