Symptoms and Signs of Medulloblastoma

Common symptoms of medulloblastoma include changes in appetite, behavioral changes and symptoms associated with increased pressure on the brain, such as headache, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, and problems with coordination. In addition, the patient may have unusual eye movements.

In children, signs of medulloblastoma include headaches, clumsiness, morning vomiting that worsens over time, problems with handwriting or other motor skills that worsens over time, and problems with vision of an eye turning inward. If the tumor moves to the spinal cord, symptoms such as back pain, bowel and bladder control problems, and difficulty may occur.
