Causes of Leptomeningeal Tumor

A leptomeningeal tumor is a tumor that has spread from another, primary tumor. Patients with can that has spread to the brain are at an increased risk for it spreading to the meninges, and individuals whose cancer has spread to an area of the brain called the posterior fossa are at greater risk of developing a leptomeningeal tumor.
