Surgery for PAD

In some instances, minimally invasive techniques may not be possible or advisable. Instead, surgical bypass can be performed to restore circulation to the involved extremity. Bypass can be constructed using a segment of vein from the patient’s leg, or alternatively, with an artificial blood vessel.
