Intraductal Papilloma

Treatments for Intraductal Papilloma

In some cases, your doctor may prescribe a duct removal, in which the duct is removed in surgery and the cells are checked for cancer in a biopsy. Complications of this surgery may involve infection, bleeding and risks associated with anesthesia. If the biopsy reveals cancerous cells, you may require further surgery or other forms of treatment.
