Conditions Related to Image-guided Endoscopic Pituitary Tumor Surgery

Image-guided endoscopic pituitary tumor surgery is performed to remove certain types of tumors that grow in the pituitary gland. These include hormone-secreting tumors, non-hormone-secreting tumors (also called endocrine inactive pituitary adenomas) and cancerous tumors, which may be treated with a combination of surgery, cancer medications and radiation therapy.
