When your child is ill or injured you can trust Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center (FHHMC) to be there for you, providing you with the best care available. Thanks to our partnership with Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando, as well as new services at FHHMC, we now have access to more than 30 sub-specialties and 90-plus pediatric experts at the children's hospital, ensuring that your child gets state-of-the-art care from the leaders in pediatric medicine.
At Florida Hospital, the Pediatric unit is designed to make your child feel at ease. We care about the health and comfort of your child, as well as you. That's why the department is equipped with all private rooms where parents and/or guardians are encouraged to stay with their child. Colorful murals decorate the hallways to keep the atmosphere fun. While we realize no child likes to spend time in a hospital, our staff strives to make his/her stay as pleasant as possible. Each room is also equipped with a television and vhs access. To make your child more comfortable, please bring their favorite toy or security blanket.
