Conditions Related to Heart Attack

A heart attack can result from any number of cardiac conditions, including atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease , aortic stenosis, and chronic heart failure. Some genetic (inherited) conditions can put people at a greater risk for a heart attack, including a diagnosis of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 1diabetes or a family history of heart disease.
