Q. At what age can I begin volunteering at Florida Hospital?
A. You must be at least 16 years of age and over to join the Florida Hospital volunteering program.
Q. Do you take court ordered service hours?
A. We do not accept court ordered service hours.
Q. Where can I go for court ordered service hours?
A. Some suggested organizations that accept court ordered service hours are:

- Beta Center
- Crises Nursery
- Goodwill Industries
- Habitat for Humanity, Inc.
- Healthcare Center for the Homeless
- Orlando Union Rescue Mission
- United Way/Community Involvement
Q. How long before I can start volunteering?
A. After you attend orientation, have your interview, and we receive your clinical and background check results you are ready to begin volunteering.
Q. I recently had a TB test in the last 6 months. May I use this?
A. No, the hospital requires its own TB test (remember it's just a skin test).
