Conditions Related to GERD

The stomach acid that regurgitates from a GERD patient’s stomach back into the esophagus can cause pre-cancerous conditions, permanent scar tissue formed in the esophagus or serious ailments in the lung and throat. Other conditions related to gastroesophageal reflux disease include:

  •  Infant GERD
  •  Heartburn
  •  Laryngopharyngeal reflux disease
  •  Acid reflux in children (pediatric GERD)
