The best babysitter is a SAFE SITTER
Founded in 1980 by an Indianapolis pediatrician, SAFE SITTER is a clinically accurate program that teaches boys and girls, ages 11 to 14, how to handle emergencies when caring for young children. All classes are taught by specially trained instructors who are dedicated to teaching young students to be medically responsible, creative and attentive babysitters.
What will be taught:
• Pediatric basic life support (including infant/child cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
• Accident prevention
• Basic child care from infant to school-age
SAFE SITTER is a two-day course offered from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm in the Spring and Summer at Florida Hospital. There is a $75 registration fee for the course.
