Parent Education Classes
Florida Hospital’s parent education classes are designed to give you and your family the confidence and knowledge you need to embark on this new phase of life. Our team helps expectant parents, grandparents and siblings understand what to expect from pregnancy to bringing baby home. Classes address topics such as childbirth, baby care, breastfeeding, transition to parenthood, infant/pediatric CPR and many more.

The Baby Bunch
The Baby Bunch is a casual gathering for moms of young babies, from newborn to 12 months old. The group meets weekly at four Florida Hospital locations, providing a community for all mothers, with helpful dialogue on feeding options, infant development and maternal health. Join us for lunch and become more confident as you embark on the journey of parenthood.
Little Music Makers: Sing, Play, Grow
Little Music Makers is an early childhood music group that provides a positive and success-oriented environment to promote developmental milestones through music.
Prenatal Yoga class
During pregnancy, your body goes through many changes, which creates stress for you mentally and physically. Prenatal Yoga is a way to maintain a healthy mind and body while also increasing strength and flexibility. This class can also help prepare you for a more comfortable labor by developing proper breathing and relaxation techniques.
As Your Child Grows
As Your Child Grows is a monthly education series designed for parents of children ages 6 months to 3 years. These classes feature a variety of topics related to your child’s first years that will help you recognize and prepare for their unique health concerns. Participants also have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with other parents during these sessions.
