HEAL (Helping Endure Infant Loss)
HEAL is a seven-week structured support group for parents who have suffered a miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death. HEAL is offered four times per year and is facilitated by licensed mental health professionals who guide comfort and provide grief education.
Being with others experiencing this same unique loss can help you cope with your grief and the many feelings you may have. Sharing your thoughts and experiences with those who really understand how you feel can help you through some of your difficulties and provide an opportunity to get some of your questions answered. For more information or to register, call (407) 303-5715.
Florida Hospital Peer-to-peer Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group
The Florida Hospital Peer-To-Peer Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group is for parents who have experienced the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS or infant loss for any reason. This group is co-facilitated by a Florida Hospital social worker and Melissa — a Florida Hospital volunteer — who personally experienced the loss of her two-day-old son Noah due to a group B strep infection and also endured three miscarriages.
