The Department of Rehabilitative Services at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial works with patients, their families, physicians and our community to help improve the patient’s functional abilities and quality of life through effective treatment interventions and education. We work as a proactive team with other health care professionals to listen, motivate and instill confidence to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient. We strive for efficiency, providing timely and accurate information to our payors and vendors. Our mission is always guided by our organization’s strong Christian values, which reflect our own.
FHFM Outpatient Rehabilitative Services offers physical, occupational and speech therapy in Suite 111 of the Summit Medical Office Building located behind Florida Hospital Fish Memorial. This provides convenient access for patients requiring multiple therapies. Evaluations and treatments are only performed by licensed professionals and each 45 minute evaluation/treatment session provides one-on-one attention. Multi-disciplinary programs are offered for a variety of orthopedic and neurological disorders.
The FHFM Rehabilitative Department also offers in-house rehabilitative evaluations/treatments to our hospital inpatients.
To receive services, your physician must provide a prescription for physical, occupational and/or speech therapy. Most insurance is accepted.
Our outpatient department is open Monday through Friday, from 8 am – 5 pm. To schedule an appointment, ask questions or to tour our facility, please call (386) 917-5160.
All therapies offer the Interactive Metronome (IM) as a treatment option, depending on your diagnosis. This brain-based tool directly and positively impacts attention, motor planning and sequencing skills. IM is also offered for private-pay sessions. For more information, please visit their website.
