Colon Cancer Prevention Cooking Demo

ORANGE CITY, Fla., April 4, 2014 – On March 27, more than 60 community members joined Florida Hospital Fish Memorial for a free culinary expo designed to help community members detect and prevent colon cancer. 

Attendees enjoyed an informative and educational presentation led by Florida Hospital Fish Memorial board certified gastroenterologist Dr. Christina Covelli. 

Following the presentation, Chef Lister and Sous Chef Winnie of Encore Catering prepared Caesar salad, pasta fagiloi and Greek yogurt parfait for the group. Guests were treated to samples and provided recipes to prepare the dishes at home.
