Give the Gift of Life! Look for the Big Red Bus in the front of the hospital. All blood donated stays in our community and is usually transfused into patients at local hospitals within 48 hours after donated. So, please give blood. There is no substitute for human blood. When you donate blood with OneBlood, you are making an immediate contribution to the health and welfare of your community. Blood is needed by patients facing planned and unplanned medical procedures, such as trauma victims, cancer patients and premature babies. If you have any questions about donating blood, please contact OneBlood @ 1-888-936-6283 or visit their website at www.oneblood.org. If you have been told previously by OneBlood or another blood center that you should never donate blood, please honor that information and disregard this message. If you recently made a blood donation, or if you have already scheduled an appointment to donate blood, please accept our thanks on behalf of the patients whose lives you have touched. To donate blood you must be at least 16 years old, weigh 102 lbs. and be in good health. Earn 250 LifePoints for your Donation! Download and print your Accountability form from your personal dashboard at changeyourlifechallenge.org. Take your Accountability form with you and have a representative from the Blood Drive sign it.
