Support Groups

Florida Hospital Fish Memorial Cancer Institute (FHFMCI) offers support groups to help people affected by cancer feel less alone and improve their ability to deal with the uncertainties and challenges that cancer brings. The groups focus primarily on coping and adjusting to the emotional impact of the cancer experience. Below is a list of support groups offered by FHFMCI.  For more information, location of groups or to RSVP 24 hours in advance prior to each meeting call (386) 917-5526.

Breast Cancer Support Group

This group provides opportunities for emotional support as well as education about breast cancer related topics.

Caregiver Support Group

This group provides opportunities for emotional support as well as education for spouses and family members of cancer patients.

Look Good Feel Better

This class teaches female cancer patients beauty techniques to help restore their appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatments. For more information and to register for this American Cancer Society sponsored group please call (800) 227-2345

General Cancer & Survivorship Support Group

This group provides support for those affected by any type of cancer. Patients, survivors, caregivers, friends and family are welcome to attend.
