Florida Hospital Fish Memorial Cancer Institute (FHFMCI) offers support groups to help people affected by cancer feel less alone and improve their ability to deal with the uncertainties and challenges that cancer brings. The groups focus primarily on coping and adjusting to the emotional impact of the cancer experience. Below is a list of support groups offered by FHFMCI.
Breast Cancer Support Group
This group provides opportunities for emotional support as well as education about breast cancer related topics.
Cancer Support Group
This group provides support for those affected by any type of cancer. The program focuses on the emotional impact of the cancer experience. Patients, survivors, caregivers, friends and family are welcome to attend.
Look Good Feel Better
This class teaches female cancer patients beauty techniques to help restore their appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma Support Group
This group provides support as well as education for those affected by leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma. Patients, caregivers, friends and family are welcome to attend.
