Biographical Sketch for Jessica Brooke Feranec, MD
Dr. Feranec is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She joined Advanced & Minimally Invasive Gynecology in 2012. Dr. Feranec began her clinical career in 2004 at the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA, affiliated with the University of Virginia, as an assistant professor. She taught residents and students and won the Attending Teacher of the Year Award. She returned to the University of Florida to continue teaching residents and medical students at the University of Florida. Dr. Feranec completed her Master Educator fellowship in June 2010, and moved to Orlando for her fellowship in advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and pelvic pain. She is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society and has specific interests in pelvic pain, vulvar disorders, and minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
