The symptoms of a deviated septum vary in type and intensity depending on the extent of the misalignment. 
The common signs of a deviated septum include:
  • Problems breathing through the nose, usually worse on one side
  • Nasal drainage
  • Nosebleeds
  • Repeated sinus infections caused by a complete blockage of one side of the nose
