Our Team and Technology
With advanced technology like Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), our team can track a tumor’s motion in real time and deliver cancer-fighting radiation with exceptional accuracy. The results are better cancer control, fewer side effects and less damage to healthy surrounding tissue.
Additionally, we offer Positron Emission Tomography and Computed Tomography (PET/CT), the combination of which pinpoints cancerous cell activity to the exact anatomic location within the body. This new equipment gives us greater treatment precision with the ability to treat smaller and more remote tumor sites in the body that were once hard to access.
Even with technologies like these, our greatest asset in the cancer fight is our team’s experienced insight and passionate approach to care. Specially trained oncologists, nurses and support staff deliver some of the best possible cancer treatments in our area in a comfortable, supportive environment.
