Causes of Chronic Heart Failure

When chronic heart failure occurs, the onset usually happens after the age of 65. Causes or chronic heart failure can include coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, weakened heart muscle resulting from cardiomyopathy, hypertension (high blood pressure), a myocardial infarction (heart attack) or kidney disease.
