Superior intensive care for your little ones.

Children come to the PICU at Florida Hospital for Children are often having severe problems breathing, have certain heart defects, are experiencing complications from diabetes or are involved in a serious accident. Our PICU caregivers are trained to deal specifically with these critical cases.

We feel it is vital to your child’s health and healing that you are at the center of our patient-centric brand of healthcare. Our physicians, nurses and support staff will be more than happy to answer your questions and you’ll have ready access to the hospital’s chaplain, social workers and counselors during your child’s stay to help you with the psychological and emotional aspects of illness or injury. Rest assured, you are never alone when your child is in need at Florida Hospital for Children.
